The Wavy Game

Overview

The Wavy Game is a website created to sell tea towels featuring a printed drinking game. All profits from these tea towels are dedicated to charitable causes. I chose five charities and allowed customers to select which charity their purchase supports at the time of checkout.

Technology

The site was built using Laravel and was integrated with the Stripe api to handle online payments. The site also features a custom built fulfilment system that will handle notifying customers, updating stock and handling stripe web hooks.

The front end of the platform is developed with Tailwind CSS and Vue, featuring interactive elements such as dice rolling, game guidelines, and a cost simulator. This simulator provides users with a detailed breakdown of the production costs associated with the tea towel.
